The DJI Matrice 4E is the surveying variant of the Matrice 4 series — tele and wide-angle cameras, centimetre-level RTK positioning and 49 minutes of flight time, deliberately without thermal for a more accessible price. Against the 4T it saves around €2,000.
The 4E is ideal for photogrammetry, mapping and building inspection without heat requirements — such as pure construction surveying, solar mapping without hotspot detection or geodata capture in urban planning. Body, flight time and IP55 protection match the 4T; OcuSync 4 keeps the video link up to 15 km, and the surveying workflow is integrated in DJI Terra. Note: the sensors are fixed in the drone body and a thermal module cannot be retrofitted — if you need hotspot inspection, choose the 4T.
We ship the CE-compliant EU version (C2 class) from stock, including the RC Pro Enterprise controller, batteries and transport case. Commercial use requires the EU A2 drone licence (>900 g).
